Wherever you are, it is the place to start. The effort you expend today does make a difference.
—Andrew Matthews
Our final lesson encompasses honoring a person or honoring an event. I would recommend that you become familiar with special occasion speeches so that when the opportunity arises, you will be ready to present. Having spoken at both my mother and father’s funerals, I feel that my tributes made a difference to the audience because they personalized my parent’s lives. I am looking forward to hearing your special occasion speech at the end of this lesson.
