Since 1998 BYU’s Division of Continuing Education, through its Academic Services department, has received numerous acknowledgements and awards from the Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning (ADEIL). ADEIL’s annual competition recognizes the development of outstanding distance and independent study courses at both the High School and Collegiate level. The courses are submitted and then judged by highly qualified peers as to their overall design, content, learning activities and assessments.
Academic Services is gratified to receive the external peer affirmation of the quality of its courses’ design and learning models.
