Pre-Algebra, Part 1 (Credit Recovery)
This course is specifically designed for credit recovery purposes and is intended for students who have previously attempted and failed the corresponding course.
In this course, students will learn how to work with fundamental mathematical functions with integers, fractions, and decimals; use the order of operations to evaluate variable expressions; solve variable equations using transformations; translate word sentences into mathematical equations; and solve word problems. This is the first course in a two-part Pre-Algebra series (ALG 041 and ALG 043).
