This course will help you build language skills—speaking, hearing, reading, and writing—at a basic level and broaden your understanding of Korean culture. You will learn to understand and communicate simple ideas in the Korean language. By the end of the course, you will be able to converse at airports, shops, or restaurants. You will also be able to talk about hobbies.
Students will need access to a computer with high speed Internet access, a microphone, speakers (or headphones), and a webcam.
There are no resubmissions or retakes on course assignments. On speaking appointments, lowest score may be dropped with the exception of the final speaking appointment. You must complete the speaking appointment in each unit before you can move on to the next unit. You must pass the final exam and the final speaking appointment separately with a 60 percent or higher in order to pass the course.
