Important Scholarship Information

If you are applying for a scholarship, please do not enroll in a BYU Independent Study course until you have received a scholarship notification. Scholarships cannot be applied to previous enrollments. Notification of scholarship awards (or denials) will be emailed to applicants before the end of each month. Once a scholarship is awarded and applied to a course, withdrawal from that course results in forfeiture of scholarship funds, and no refund or voucher will be available.

Please email completed application and materials to is.universityscholarships@byu.edu

In response to COVID-19, we will only be able to accept and respond to IS University and Mabel Browbn Scholarship applications via email until further notice.
