BYU Independent Study is a UC-approved private high school. Credits earned through BYU Independent Study high school courses are accepted at all University of California schools, all California State University schools, and nearly every other university and college in the United States.

BYU Independent Study's high school program is accredited by Cognia and Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
