Geometry, Part 1
This course is a study of segments and angles, mathematical reasoning, parallel lines, triangles, polygons, quadrilaterals, and similarity. This is the first course in a two-part Geometry series (GEOM 041 and GEOM 043). This course also encompasses Common Core State Standards.
This course is designed to challenge students by having them apply concepts in a way they may need in the real world. As such, it has a built-in KSA model that develops college and career readiness—Knowledge: Geometry, Skill: Creative Thinking—Problem Solving, and Attribute: Humility.
